Essential Wedding Planning Top Tips
When it comes to weddings, our co-ordinators know how to make the day extra special and personal to you and your future spouse. Here are our team's top five tips that every bride and groom to be should know.
Tip 1
Base your wedding plans around what’s important to YOU as a couple! If it’s nights in with a film and a pizza, then why not think about having pizza as your evening buffet, table names based around favourite films? If you both enjoy going out and drinking cocktails, why not have cocktail pitchers rather than fizz during the welcome drinks?
Tip 2
Take at least 15 minutes away alone. The day will be the most amazing but also probably the quickest day of your life! Ask your planner to take you both to a private area where you can have a drink and discuss how you felt throughout the day. Try and take in all the detail by discussing it on that day.
Tip 3
Have you considered making a playlist for during the wedding breakfast? Not only is this a fun date night in but it will make you smile during the meal when specific songs come on. When you listen to the playlist after the wedding, you will find that certain songs bring back memories of the day.
Tip 4
Have fun, don’t let wedding stress take over, try and remember you are planning a fun-filled day to celebrate your relationship and take it to the next level! Your wedding planner is there to help to take any stress away, sometimes a face to face chat or a run-through of the day is all you need!
Tip 5
Buy each other perfume for the day and only let them open it on the morning of the wedding. Make sure it’s a scent that you love, so that whenever you wear that scent in the future it instantly reminds you of the wedding day!
