We used the Portal Hotel for host a sales leadership training course. Our experience was very good and we would definitely use the hotel again. Staff were attentive and super helpful at all times. Nicole is a star, as is Jo on reception. Professional and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. It's a pleasure to work with a hotel where everything runs smoothly and the staff are motivated. We would use the Portal again.
MG Sales Performance
I consider the Macdonald Portal hotel a home from home and I feel very welcome every time I stay at the hotel. As a regular visitor for business, the hotel has everything I need from well-proportioned rooms to plenty of parking and additional facilities. I like the gym and pool area to unwind after work and I’ve even managed to play golf once (badly!). The hotel is short walk from Tarporley, which is very pleasant and has several places to eat and drink, in addition to the bar and restaurant at the hotel. I’m now on first name terms with the staff and this makes my stays here feel so great. When my wife and children come to stay, they get treated like royalty and think I’m some sort of rock star!
