Pro's Tip:
A majestic finishing hole. The homestretch is a bridgeable par 5. A dog-leg left that requires a tee shot to the right which the slope will gather and roll back to the left. The 18th green in front of the clubhouse is large and well protected.

Pro's Tip:
A short Par 4 to start the round. Lay up short of the bunkers with your tee shot ideally on the right of the fairway to give yourself a full shot to the green.

Pro's Tip:
This Par 5 is the longest hole on the course. Your tee shot needs to be long and straight. Play to the marker on top of the hill leaving a downhill third shot to a green that breaks from left to right.

Pro's Tip:
A very appropriate name. Hit your tee shot short of the right hand bunker to leave a full shot to the green but beware of the bunkers left and right protecting it.

Pro's Tip:
An interesting dog-leg left. Aim for the marker at the bottom of the hill bearing in mind everything slopes from left to right.  Your choice of club towards the green is vital. The green is fast and slopes towards you.

The first par 3 of the round. For safety, favour the left half of the green with a fade if the flag is behind the bunker.

A par 4 where you aim your drive to the right half of the fairway. Everything falls to the left including your approach shot to the green.

Excellent par 3. With the green set in the base of a quarry, an extra club is required due to the elevation change.

A par 4 where accuracy off the tee is key. Out of bounds either side of the fairway but a good straight drive will leave an approach to the generous green.

Par 4 for men and par 5 for ladies. A dog-leg left. Beware of the out of bounds on the left which runs half way down the length of the fairway. Aim to the centre and do not stray right.

Par 4 for men and par 5 for ladies. The preferred line is to the right of the quarry. However, the green can be approached  from both left and right of the penalty area. The approach shot runs right to left.

Stroke index 1. Par 4 for men and par 5 for ladies. Aim to the left hand side of the fairway as everything runs right. Being an  uphill approach shot, make sure you take an extra club to the  green.

Aim to the right half of the fairway avoiding the bunkers on the left. This will leave you a short approach to the green.

Aim your drive left of centre over the top of the two trees. The ball will kick right as will your approach shot to the green. Anything short will run into the green side bunkers.

Pro's Tip:
This par 4 overlooks Portal’s Championship course. Your tee shot should be right of centre away from the tree and out of bounds on the left. Beware of the tree guarding the right side of the green.

Pro's Tip:
A most memorable hole. A challenging par 3 threading through trees to a small landing area. Being a downhill shot take less club than the yardage and be careful of the wind.

Pro's Tip:
A watery dog-leg left. The fairway slopes gently up so the hole plays longer than it looks. A stream and out-of-bounds down the left and a pond on the right means accuracy is key.

A beautiful final par 3. Club selection is important. There is lots of water for anything short and bunkers guarding the left  and right of the green.
