Is there disabled access at Plas Talgarth?

For anyone who struggles with walking we recommend contacting our reservations team who can discuss your requirements and allocate you the most suitable accessible accommodation. Please note Plas Talgarth is located on a small hill and a lot of our units consist of 2, 3 or 4 floors.

Is Plas Talgarth child friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of our self-catering apartments have twin rooms, bunk beds and are ideally suited for families. The resort has a tennis court, play park, pitch & putt and both an indoor and (seasonal) outdoor heated swimming pool ensuring there is plenty to keep kids entertained.

Are you dog friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Plas Talgarth has dog friendly accommodation. A maximum of two dogs are welcome per apartment. There is an additional cost of &pound;15 per apartment, per night, with a maximum charge of &pound;75 per apartment per stay, regardless of duration. This fee is payable on arrival at the resort.
Please contact reservations to ensure you have booked a dog friendly accommodation option in advance of your stay. Dogs are not allowed access to the Mansion House or leisure facilities.

Does the resort have parking?

Yes, all Plas Talgarth apartments have an allocated parking space, and there are plenty of other parking spaces available too.

Can I access the leisure facilities during my stay?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the leisure facilities are available to all guests free of charge.
Plas Talgarth also has a pitch & putt, tennis and basketball court. Ask reception for racquets, clubs and balls. View all leisure facilities available at the resort here.

Is WiFi available?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There is Wi-Fi access throughout all public areas of the resort and accomodation. Whilst this extends to the majority of accommodation, due to the rural setting of our resort it cannot always be guaranteed.

Do you have a guest laundry service?

The guest laundry is located in the Mansion House and is open 24 hours daily. The washing machine and dryer are token operated which can be purchased at reception. Washing pods are available.

Is there a local bus and train service?

Yes. The closest bus stop is in Pennal Village opposite the Riverside Pub only 10 minutes walk at the bottom of the resort driveway. The train station is located in Machnlleyth which is a 10 minute drive from the resort.
