Here at Macdonald Compleat Angler we have two fantastic boats for you to enjoy, so whichever boat you choose, you will appreciate our stunning location, located opposite All Saint's Church, next to Marlow Weir.


Trips from the private mooring at Macdonald Compleat Angler can vary from just one hour, before dinner, between the locks passing stunning riverside houses, Bisham Abbey and Bisham Church, through to two hours through Marlow Lock to Bourne End and back or through Temple towards Harleyford Estate.

A longer trip could involve sailing towards Hurley and Henley (2 1/2 hours each way) or to Cliveden, Maidenhead and Bray or even Windsor (4 hours one way).

All trips on Kingfisher include a fully qualified, friendly, knowledgeable skipper.

Available from April to September

Our smaller self-drive boat can carry up to 6 adults. She is electrically powered so very quiet ensuring you are able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful stretch of the River Thames. A licence is not required to drive her and full instructions will be provided before you leave the hotel. Life jackets are available from our concierge desk.
