Year-round Adventures
Embark on a scenic steam train adventure through the heart of the Cairngorms National Park! Departing from Platform 3 at Aviemore Station, this nostalgic journey spans a twenty-mile round trip to Boat of Garten and Broomhill.
Travel along the original Highland Railway mainline and enjoy breathtaking views of moorland, ancient woodlands, and the winding River Spey, all set against the backdrop of the majestic Cairngorm Mountains.
The return trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, offering a timeless exploration of this beautiful route, included as part of this exclusive package throughout the steam railway’s operating season

This offer is subject to availability and for stays all year round valid during the railway's operating schedule.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is due at the time of booking.
If you are a larger family, just give us a call directly—we have some rooms that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 3 children, plus interconnecting rooms and lodges too.
*Dining Options:
Aspects (Our Signature Eatery): Enjoy an all-inclusive dinner with a choice of a two-course menu at Aspects. Open daily from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
Giovanni’s and Highland Fish Bar: Alternatively, opt for a £25 per adult allowance towards the à la carte dinner menu at Giovanni’s (our Italian restaurant) or Highland Fish Bar. Please note these options have reduced services and operational hours during the winter.
Children's Dining: Kids under 14 years old eat for free from the children's menu.
Tickets to Strathspey Steam Railway
This special package includes return tickets for a 1.5-hour journey from Aviemore to Broomhill on the Strathspey Steam Railway, covering:
