Malaga Costa Path Extends To Doña Lola
The Malaga Coastal Path (Senda Litorial de Malaga) has reached one of its most exciting phases to date as works commence along the coast at Calahonda.
Once complete this new boardwalk will create a seamless link between Macdonald Doña Lola Resort and all the other surrounding resorts along the Mediterranean including Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella and Estepona. A staggering 180km in length the attractive wooden boardwalk runs parallel to the sea offering walkers, joggers, cyclists and families safe passage along the coast with easy access and magnificent views over the sea and numerous beaches.
Work to extend the boardwalk to Calahonda is taking place from 16 April 2018 and will be complete by the end of June. During this period the works will impact on the availability of our beachfront pool and restaurant. However, alternative swimming pools and another restaurant on the resort will be open at all times during any closures. From the end of June our resort facilities will be full reopen as normal.
Throughout July work will continue on the boardwalk construction behind our resort perimeter and we will aim to minimise any inconvenience to our guests.
