Every wedding held at New Blossoms hotel is truly unique, with our setting ideally positioned for intimate, boutique weddings in the centre of Chester.

Let us take care of everything as you and up to 50 guests take part in your special day, with your civil ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception all possible to arrange through a dedicated wedding co-ordinator and a custom wedding package.

With plenty of Standard, Deluxe and Suite room options available for your party to stay with you throughout the momentous occasion, they’ll also have the chance to use our facilities and explore the variety of shops and nightlife in the build-up to proceedings. We also offer special overnight rates for your wedding guests in a range of individually furnished bedrooms with a complimentary suite for you as the bride and groom.

As a hotel destination entwined in the fascinating Roman and medieval history of the region, you’ll find an array of original period features adding plenty of character to your wedding photographs on the day – with nearby landmarks such as the Eastgate Clock and Grosvenor park also beautiful options for a photogenic backdrop.

Right from the beginning the team at New Blossoms made it an easy decision for us to choose this venue, they were so quick to respond, and completely helpful throughout the entire process. The team on the day couldn’t have done enough for us, when we arrived, James introduced himself straight away, checked us in and showed us to our suite where we received a complementary bottle of prosecco for myself and the bridesmaids. James was cool, calm and collected, which, in turn made us so relaxed ahead of the ceremony. James showed us around the venue, walked us through the ceremony set-up and was even on hand to play the music for us. He ensured the ceremony went without a hitch! Situated right in the middle of Chester city centre, it was a stone’s throw from the Eastgate Clock and Roman Walls which allowed us to have some pictures taken in the beautiful city surroundings. As for the venue, the stunning staircase and eclectic surroundings again, made for some stunning pictures. We would absolutely recommend considering MacDonald as a venue for your big day.. or any other celebrations! Thank you to Darcy, James, and the Team at New Blossoms for making our big day so special. We will certainly remember it for the rest of our lives.
