New Year Breaks in the Lake District

Bid farwell to 2023 as you join us for a New Year break in The Lake District with a 1 or 2 night stay. On New Year's Eve, arrive for check in at 3pm before officially beginning your celebrations at 7pm with Champagne and canapés followed by a delicious meal. Then enjoy some light entertainment and welcome 2024 by Ullswater as you toast to the year ahead with a glass of fizz and a midnight snack. 

For those staying 2-nights, wake up on New Year’s Day to our hearty Macdonald breakfast before spending the day at your leisure.  Explore the local area, take a walk around our Woodland Gardens or simply relax with a board game in the Library. 

After a day of relaxation, enjoy new flavours while testing your general knowledge with our gin tasting & quiz from 3pm before tucking into our New Year’s Day buffet from 7pm.
