    Boasting spectacular views over the Solent, Elmers Court Hotel in Lymington dates back to the 19th century. This New Forest manor house hotel has a diverse history having previously been used as a training centre for spies, a courthouse and a school.     In 1812 Charles William Bigge built Linden Hall as a mansion for himself to live in, having acquired the estate in which it now stands a few years previously. The grade II listed building has been restored elegantly and retains plenty of references to its former owner and the architects that helped design it.
