The Emerald Championship Course
Designed by television golfing legends Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas, and brought to life by Albert Minshall in 1975, the Emerald Championship Course has established itself as one of the finest golfing experiences in Shropshire and beyond.
Covering 6,714 yards with a par of 73, this magnificent course sweeps through the stunning Shropshire countryside featuring:
- Beautifully undulating fairways
- Challenging natural water hazards
- Strategically placed bunkers
- Meticulously maintained greens that putt beautifully year-round
The course presents a genuine test for experienced and mid-level players alike, culminating in a spectacular 18th hole with a challenging carry over water off the tee and an approach that demands precision to navigate another water hazard before reaching the subtly undulating green.
