Winter Open Golf Series
Take part in the new Macdonald Hotels & Resorts Winter Open Series happening at five of our golf hotels during the off-season, where you will have the chance to compete for an amazing hole in 1 prize of a seven night holiday to spain for four people!
Each Winter Series Open Event will feature no winter greens and have a variety of sponsored prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, plus Nearest The Pin & Longest Drive prize awards.
The format will be a minimum of 15 teams consisting of four golfers each and will be a mix of Team Better Ball and Texas Scramble - with Golf Genius live scoring in operation at each event.
Taking place over the winter months between November - March, this is your chance to experience our stunning courses while playing competitive golf with members and visitors alike.
Hill Valley Hotel Golf & Spa
Play in the Hill Valley Winter Series on the following dates:
- Saturday 25th November (£60 per team of four).
- Saturday 23rd December (£80 per team of four to include tea, coffee, bacon rolls & mince pie).
- Sunday 18th February (£60 per team of four).
- Saturday 23rd March (£60 per team of four).
Portal Golf & Spa Resort
Play in the Portal Winter Series on the following dates:
- Saturday 18th November (£80 per team of four).
- Sunday 17th December (£100 per team of four to include tea, coffee, bacon roll & mince pie).
- Sunday 18th February (£80 per team of four).
- Saturday 23rd March (£80 per team of four).
Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa
Play in the Cardrona Winter Series on the following dates:
- Sunday 12th November (£80 per team of four).
- Sunday 10th December (£100 per team of four to include tea, coffee, bacon roll & mince pie).
- Sunday 25th February (£80 per team of four).
- Sunday 24th March (£80 per team of four).
Linden Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa
Play in the Linden Hall Winter Series on the following dates:
- Saturday 11th November (£60 per team of four).
