Things To Do in the New Forest

With miles and miles of gorgeous New Forest landscape to discover you can easily hire a bike if you don’t have your own – or choose one of the lovely walks if you prefer to explore on foot.

Bucklers Hard is an absolutely fascinating destination for lovers of history and anything maritime. You’ll find a museum, walks, reconstructions, workshops and more - all set around the unspoiled village on the banks of the Beaulieu River. From here, you’re just 10 minutes’ drive from the Beaulieu National Motor Museum – a necessary pit-stop for anyone who’s fascinated by cars, with much more to see including the house, gardens and the conserved ruins of 800-year-old Beaulieu Abbey.
