What time is check-in and check-out at The Compleat Angler?

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 11am. Guests who have booked directly through our website can check-out until midday.

Is there disabled access at The Compleat Angler?

Accepted Answer

There is a total of 18 rooms accessible via lift. One of which is an accessible room with wider doorways and emergency pull-cords. This does not have a wet room but a bathroom with lowered sink, toilet and bath.

Are you child friendly?

Yes, children under 12 stay for free. We have z-beds which are suitable for children under 12. Our standard bedroom will fit one z-bed.
For older children, we recommended booking one of our super deluxe rooms with a sofa bed, or inter-connecting rooms in our standard / twin category (all with zip and link beds).

Can dogs stay at The Compleat Angler?

Yes, The Compleat Angler is a dog friendly hotel. All rooms are suitable for dogs and a &pound;15 per dog, per night charge applies. Pet dogs are welcome in all public areas excluding our restaurant.

Does the hotel have car parking for guests?

We have two car parks on site which guests who have booked direct on our website can use at a discounted rate. Please ensure that you register your number plate at reception within 20 minutes of arrival to avoid a fine from UKPC.

Yes, there are four charging points. There is a flat rate charge of &pound;30 for 24 hours.

Do you have a fridge or safe in the room?

We have cooling units in all rooms but not refrigerators. Our F&B teams are able to store anything that requires refrigeration.
We also have safes in all rooms.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday, between 7am - 10am and Saturday & Sunday, between 8am - 10am.

We have two restaurants onsite. Our hotel restaurant - Riverside Restaurant and Sindhu by Atul Kochhar.
Please note, Sindhu operates as a separate business, the hotel do not manage their bookings and it is not included in DBB packages.

We advise all guests to make a dinner reservation prior to arrival, either via our website or calling reception. Dinner reservations can be made on arrival, but there may be a limited availability.
