Food and Chefs
Joining Tom Kerridge and Atul Kocchar are huge names in the world of food including acclaimed Spanish chef and restauranteur José Pizzaro, Michel Roux Jr of Le Gavroche fame, plus magnificent modern cuisine from Ben Tish, Simon Rimmer and Adam Purnell (AKA Shropshire Lad). If that wasn't enough to whet your appetite, the living legend Dame Mary Berry will also be making an exclusive guest appearance at the Gala Opening Night on the Thursday.
The gastropub and restaurant scene in Marlow is one of the best in England, so you can expect presences from Tom Kerridge's The Hand and Flowers (of course) and local bistropub The Oarsman, as well as pop-ups from further afield foodie havens such as Angela Hartnett's Cafe Murano and The Abbey Inn by Tommy Banks. They'll all be gathered in one place and serving up their most delicious dishes in bite-sized versions of themselves. Each restaurant will also be serving their very own exclusive kids' dish, to make sure the younger guests have plenty of fuel for the excitement of the day.
Live Music
It's not just fabulous food on offer but chart-topping music too. Thursday night sees Van Morrison, one of music's true originals, take to the stage - and you can be sure that Brown Eyed Girl and Have I Told You Lately will be in the setlist. Catch power-pop from Busted and bring your dancing shoes for Example on Friday night, while Saturday sees an incredible selection encompassing everything from the seductively soulful sounds of Shola Ama and glitterball euphoria from Kimberly Wyatt's Don't Cha Disco, to Judge Jules on the decks and a smooth set from Ministry of Sound Classical.
In the Sunday afternoon sunshine (we’ve ordered it!) you can groove to Paloma Faith as she sings from her incredible back catalogue of hits and debuts songs from her new album The Glorification of Sadness, with support from Scouting for Girls and Rick Parfitt Jr. Make sure you stop by Wing Rave, run by chef Jack Blumenthal and his high-energy Ginger Wings team, for a line-up of epic DJs who are sure to get you burning those calories.
