The Stanley Spencer Gallery In Cookham
This Gallery is dedicated to the life and work of Stanley Spencer, the early modernist painter. Situated in a converted Methodist Chapel, the gallery contains over 100 drawing and paintings. Stanley Spencer drew his inspiration from Cookham calling it “a village in heaven”.
