Plas Talgarth Health & Leisure Club is set in acres of parkland at the southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, just five miles from the beautiful beaches of Aberdyfi and Tywyn.

The resort nestles in the lovely valley of the River Dyfi, and has the welcoming atmosphere of a small village with its own cosy Welsh pub.

Close by the Tall-y-llyn steam railway runs from the sea to the foothills of Cader Idris, at the gateway to the magnificent Cambrian Mountains.

The leisure centre provides a swimming pool, whirlpool spa, sauna, steam room and solarium, squash courts, snooker and table tennis or relax in the Health & Beauty Spa. Outdoors there are tennis courts, a pitch-and-putt course and an outdoor pool for the summer months.

The 16th century Farmhouse Bar, with its blazing log fire in the cooler months, is a popular meeting place. Just slightly further afield is the village of Pennal, whilst a few minutes' drive leads to the market town of Machynlleth.

A steam railway at Tall-y-llyn puffs its way up the valley - from the sea to the foot of Cader Idris mountain.
