With 27 holes designed by Dave Thomas, Almenara is a superb layout more suited to the serious golfer, the main features of the course are high banked bunkers, winding fairways and holes protected by lakes.

2. Cabopino (€55.00* )
On a course which offers fantastic views of the nearby Mediterranean Sea, the key to playing Cabopino is accuracy rather than length.There are some memorable and exciting holes played from very elevated tees.

3. Calanova (€65.00* incl. buggy)
One of the coast's newest courses Calanova has already gained quite a reputation for the warmthof its welcome. Dramatic drives, huge greens and breathtaking scenery will create lasting memories of a course where, despite many changes in elevation, the playing areas are generally flat.

4. El Chaparral (€65.00*)
Meandering beneath towering pine trees El Chaparral is a first class golf course more suited to the serious golfer. With rolling fairways and magnificent greens this recently reopened course provides a stern challenge.
5. Estepona (€50.00*)
A change from the normal manicured type of golf course, Estepona is set inland and gives you fantastic mountain/sea views whilst playing the golf course.The layout features rolling wide/narrow fairways and well protected greens, you will find a very friendly atmosphere at this family run golf club.
6. Los Naranjos (€85.00*)
A well established golf course, mainly flat, easy walking and is suitable for all levels of play, with the back nine winding through orange groves.

7. La Quinta (€70.00*)
The course was designed by Head Professional Manuel Pinero and is the venue for the Owners and Guests weekly competition, the course has a good blend of easy and tough holes, narrow/wide fairways and fast, tricky greens. 30 minutes from Macdonald Dona Lola & Macdonald Leila Playa and 15 minutes from Macdonald Villacana.
8. Mijas Golf (€70.00*)
Two flat parkland style golf courses, Los Olivos/Los Lagos, suitable for all
standards, forgiving from the tee with accuracy required for the approach to the greens as lakes and large bunkers await. Los Lagos was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr. 15 minutes from Macdonald Dona Lola & Macdonald Leila Playa & 45 minutes from Macdonald Villacana.
9. Parador (€60.00*)
The oldest golf course on the coast and designed by Tom Simpson of Turnberry and Muirfield fame, and opened in 1925. The course is part links by the seashore and part parkland with fairways forming avenues between trees which are home to flocksd of colourful parakeets.
10. Rio Real (€85.00*)
Always in magnificent condition, Rio Real is one of the finest courses in the area and a delight to play. Generous fairways lined with an abundance of mature trees, make it suitable for all levels of play.

11. Santa Clara (€70.00* incl buggy )
Santa Clara promotes quality rather than quantity, the course is superbly maintained and the clubhouse offers service and facilities to match. The layout of the course has a good mix of long and short holes with wide / narrow fairways.

12. Santa Maria (€70.00*)
Santa Maria, traces the contours of two valleys in which streams and and four lakes form natural hazards. Greens are generally spacious with the 11th the most spectacular hole having a lake and waterfall bordering the green. Located opposite the Don Carlos Hotel just 6kms from Macdonald Dona Lola & Macdonald Leila Playa
