Former workers at a Northumberland hotel are being invited back to their old workplace – but this time as guests.
Macdonald Linden Hall Golf and Country Club is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a series of events, including a ball for current and ex-employees. And now the hotel is anxious to hear from former staff to entice them along to the event on November 18.
The event will not only let employees enjoy attending a function at their former place of work but a special accommodation rate on offer means they can also stay the night.
And it will give former workers the chance to see the multi-million pound refurbishment which has been carried out at the hotel which was recently granted four stars and a silver award from Visit Britain.
"We are sure that a lot of former members of staff will still live in the Northumberland and Morpeth area and we'd really like them to try and come along and enjoy the night," said General Manager, Bernard Bloodworth.
The event will include dinner, a three course meal and live band with a special rate on offer for staff who really want to make a night of it.
Tickets for the event can be bought directly from the hotel on 01670 500000.
