St Patrick's Day
One of the UK’s top Irish bands will be ensuring guests enjoy the ‘craic’ at a leading Shropshire hotel to mark St Patrick’s Day.
The Two Pats – there are three of them! – will be performing at the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf and Spa at its St Patrick’s Day buffet on Saturday, March 15.
The musicians will provide the entertainment in the Shropshire Suite at the complex in Tarporley Road, Whitchurch, two days before the official celebrations to mark one of the patron saints of Ireland.
Pat Brennan, lead singer and musician, said the band had been performing for the last 25 years.
We have gained a reputation as one of Britain’s most well known Irish acts and we have played at venues throughout the country as well as on the QE2, he said.
We will play a mix of Irish music and will encourage the guests to take part to enjoy the ‘craic’ as the Irish say.
We are the kind of authentic Irish band that you would hear if you were in a courtyard of a Dublin pub and we will be bringing that to Shropshire to mark St Patrick’s Day celebrations in style.
Iain Gray, general manager of the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf and Spa, said The Two Pats were sure to provide a memorable evening.
We are delighted the band will be performing here for the first time to mark St Patrick’s Day, he said.
They play a wide variety of instruments and I am sure they will get everyone on the dance floor.
A two-course Irish buffet will be served and plenty of Guinness will be available when the evening gets under way at 7pm.
The event costs £20 per person and for more information contact Nicky Brundell on 0870 194 2133.
