MACDONALD HOTELS & RESORTS INTRODUCE NEW WINE SELECTION AT CONFEX 2007

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts is launching a new banqueting wine selection at International Confex 2007 (20-22 February 2007).

Marc Van de Wynckle, wine manager and Glenn Fitchew, catering development manager at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, who have been instrumental in creating the new wine selection, are on-hand throughout the conference at the Macdonald Hotels to provide professional tips and advice on wine and food pairings for conferences and events. A select range of food is available for tasting with an assortment from the new collection of wines and champagnes from around the world, including Willowood Chardonnay from California and Châteaux Routas Wild Boar Rose from France.

Following Confex, the new wine selections will be rolled out across the Macdonald group. Staff have received in-house training on the new menu, wine matching and food options allowing them to offer well-informed advice for conference bookers and delegates.

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts prides itself on the quality of its food and drink offering. Each hotel offers a different and unique menu but with same high standards of quality, locally sourced ingredients applied in each restaurant.
