Shoppers will soon be able to spend even longer in Chester city centre without worrying about the cost of car parking thanks to a leading hotel.

The Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel is launching a special deal in the run-up to the festive season for shoppers heading to the city.

Anyone who enjoys a two-course lunch for £12.95 in the Snooty Fox Dining Room at the St John’s Street venue will receive complimentary parking on the day of dining, in a designated nearby NCP car-park.

All visitors need to do is present their receipt at the hotel reception and they will be given a complimentary pass.

Kate Halewood, general manager of the Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel, said even the most ardent shoppers needed to stop for lunch.

This is a fantastic time of year when Chester is buzzing with Christmas shoppers, she said.

We launched a new lunch menu in November which is proving really popular with local residents.

We use fresh seasonal produce which includes all kinds of tempting dishes ranging from Welsh rarebit to Lancashire hotpot or classic cottage pie. Our December menu carries a traditional Christmas theme, helping local residents get into the festive spirit!
