A leading hotel in Shropshire which has been transformed by a stunning £13.5 million refurbishment is set to be unveiled.

The major expansion and refurbishment will be completed this summer at the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Country Club in Tarporley Road, Whitchurch.
A self-contained conference and banqueting suite, which will seat 300 guests theatre-style will include comfort cooling, audio visual equipment and a separate bar, is expected to open at the end of May.
Executive head chef Matt Hulmes and his team will be creating à la carte dishes in the newly-created restaurant and cocktail lounge which throws open its doors on May 15.
A separate 86-bedroom development featuring ensuite bathrooms, plasma televisions and balconies overlooking the golf course has been taking bookings since April.
The complex already features two award-winning golf courses and a new lounge and bar, sports bar and pro-shop have also been taking brisk business from golfers who play 40,000 rounds a year on the Emerald and Sapphire courses.
Contractors Watkin Jones will also soon start building a luxury Vital Leisure and Health Spa.
The self-contained building, which will contain an 18-metre indoor swimming pool, gym, four beauty rooms and a thermal suite, is due to open in the autumn.
Regional manager Calum Colquhoun is confident the state-of-the-art facilities will raise the standards of conferencing and banqueting in the region and will attract visitors to the county for the first time.
