What better way to fill in the gap between Christmas and New Year than at the hands of a murderer?
Picture the scene: You are enjoying the company of fellow guests during a sumptuous dinner at the newly refurbished MacDonald Berystede Hotel & Spa, near Ascot, Berkshire when a blood curdling scream cuts through the jovial atmosphere. The first of several ghastly 'murders' has been committed, the police rush in, the room is full of suspects and you are thrown deep into mystery and intrigue as the hunt for the murderer begins.
The two-night Twixmas Break for Murder begins with a welcoming cocktail party on Wednesday 27 December when guests have the opportunity to meet fellow detectives, as well as the cast of the event, all of who remain in character throughout.
A murder incident room will be set up in the hotel and participants will have to keep their wits about them as more murders are committed and further clues are woven into the plot. The Chief Inspector will summarise the case on the final morning. But who will turn out to be the villain and who will solve the murder and win the coveted Super Sleuth Award?
