Things to see and do in Swansea

A visit to Swansea is a must: take in the sweeping waterfront of Swansea Bay leading to Mumbles and onto the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Not complete without trying one of the famous Welsh-Italian ice cream parlours.

First things first, you can't go wrong with a visit to the Wales National Waterfront Museum. An amazing architectural landmark in its own right, the museum celebrates the industrial and maritime history of Wales dating back to the 1800s.

A short drive from the hotel you'll find Mumbles, A vibrant seaside village with over 100 shops, restaurants and pubs overlooking the beautiful and picturesque Swansea Bay. The Mumbles Oyster Festival is one of many attractions for foodies.

If you're looking for something a little more cultural in nature then a visit to The Dylan Thomas Centre could be right up your street. Dylan Thomas was born and raised in Swansea and there are a variety of tours and guides that bring you closer to the man and the myth.

Whatever you're looking to explore and discover in and around Swansea you'll find our hotel is the perfect base.
