The Bobsleigh Hotel's history gives it great charm as a function
destination. Known as Bovingdon Country Club during WW2, many
famous guests including Bob Hope, James Stewart and Glenn Miller
stayed here while entertaining air crews nearby. Later, it acquired
its iconic name after the owner's son, Tony Nash Junior, took gold
with the UK's 1964 Winter Olympics Bobsleigh Team - but only after
the Italians donated them a bolt! Enjoy our four unique function
spaces, from the round Acacia Suite to our conservatory-with-patio,
accommodating every occasion with a country garden backdrop.
