Founded by the Romans as a crossing place over the River Mersey,
Warrington's history includes battles of the English Civil War, the
industrial revolution and the UK's first Ikea! Stay at one of our

Warrington Walking Day, the Bawning of the Thorn and Welly

Rugby league is very much a tradition here, with the Warrington

Warrington Rowing Regatta goes back a few years too, 150 to be
precise.
