We had a fabulous wedding at the Marine hotel. People thought we were crazy getting married when our daughter was only four months old but all the staff at the hotel were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and they all made sure that everything ran smoothly. I can honestly say that we found planning our wedding a fun, stress free experience due to the hotel staff's expertise.
 
The venue was amazing with spectacular views and our guests loved the spa and fantastic food. We had a very special wedding that we will never forget. Our only regret is that it's all over! We plan to come back every year for our wedding aniversary.

We held our daughter`s wedding reception at Macdonald Marine Hotel, North Berwick on Sat 17th April 2010 and could not have asked for a happier and more successful day. This was partly due to the excellent service we received on our special day.

All our meetings with Roslyn Ferguson, Wedding planner, always filled us with confidence and her attention to detail was excellent. It was a real pleasure dealing with Roslyn. On the big day everyone was so helpful particularly Caroline & Nigel. The function room looked spectacular and the food was wonderful and so beautifully presented.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the Macdonald Marine, North Berwick, for a wedding reception. A brilliant team effort.

Our daughter's wedding reception took place at the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa, North Berwick last Saturday and we heard many favourable comments from the guests, many of whom stayed one or two nights at the hotel.
The help and advice that we received from Roslyn Ferguson during the planning of the event was invaluable, as was the assistance from Nigel on the day itself. Kirsty Hunter and Duncan Milne were also very helpful at reception. Our thanks must also go to the Chef and his team who produced a great meal.

I would have no problems in recommending the Marine to any of our friends who were looking for a function venue.

Stewart and I had our wedding at the Marine Hotel in December 2011 and it was the most wonderful day from start to finish.

Kirsty and the staff at the hotel were so helpful, both in helping us to prepare in advance and ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the day. Many of our guests commented on the high quality of the food and the Bass Rock Suite was perfect for our wedding breakfast and evening reception. The hotel was so cosy inside, with glorious views out to Bass Rock. I could not recommend it highly enough - the perfect wedding venue!
