Snowy has progressed within the Macdonald's kitchen brigade beginning her career with the group five years ago as Senior Sous Chef at Macdonald Compleat Angler, Marlow; then honouring her skills over the next two years as Head Chef at Macdonald Frimley Hall Hotel & Spa. After a return to Marlow to take the position as Head Chef, Snowy joined us to continue her original and creative approach.

Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, her career has also included spells at Great Fosters Hotel in Egham and Richmond Gate Hotel.

As well as catering for restaurant guests in the AA rosette awarded Caleys Scottish Steak Club, Snowy and her team are also dedicated to cater for weddings and banqueting in the hotel's function suites, which can cater up to 100 guests at a wedding breakfast.

Couples can create their own three or four course menus from a large choice of dishes; there are also separate canapé, children's, afternoon tea and evening reception menus available.

In keeping with the Macdonald Hotels dining ethos, Snowy sources only the best seasonal provenance available, locally where possible and for the fullest, most natural flavours. Fresh, not frozen, wholesome ingredients are used in all menus.

Snowy selects suppliers with the highest standards, such as ScotBeef for quality beef and lamb and John Ross Jr for smoked fish. Macdonald Hotels & Resorts received a Good Egg award in 2012 from compassion for world farming and the best breakfast trophy at the menu innovation and design awards (MIDAS) 2011/12.

Macdonald Windsor Hotel provides the perfect location for a magical wedding, located in historic royal town of Windsor with breath-taking views of Windsor Castle. The exquisite ser vice of Snowy and her team are truly the icing on the cake.
