I have been in hospitality for over 25 years, I started my
professional life as a chef but quickly moved to front of house,
this is where my passion lies. I started my hotel career in
some of Manchester's leading hotels before taking on a variety of
roles around the country. I joined Macdonald Hotels &
Resorts over 10 years ago as a Conference and Banqueting Manager
and took the proud step of becoming the Manager of the Swan four
I am fortunate to have a dedicated team at the hotel who pride
themselves on professionalism but above all great customer service
and take pride in ensuring the hotel feels like a home from home.
So much so, that we were finalists in the Cumbria Tourism
Awards for Small Hotel of the Year and our commitment to quality
and food gained us the award for Catering Hotel of the Year in the
Macdonald Hotels & Resorts Awards.
I trust you will enjoy your stay and will leave with warm
memories of our team and the beautiful Lake District.
