Testimonials at Macdonald Pittodrie House

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding at Macdonald Pittodrie House.  Everyone had a fab day.  The meal was great and service very good.  Lovely room for ceremony and meal, good ground for photos.  Staff all very friendly and party of our special day.

The hotel itself is fabulous and the grounds are amazing, but the thing that really impressed us was the staff.  Throughout the whole process the staff have been accommodating, highly attentive and we have been well looked after.  Every little detail was looked after and our day ran smoothly and was truly the best day ever.  Little improvisations by the staff made the décor even more fantastic.  The rooms for both our guests were fantastic and all well presented.  We would recommend this hotel without a second thought.  Overall a great wedding package!

We had a fantastic weekend. We honestly can't thank you enough. Everyone at Pittodrie house was so helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much. So many guests mentioned it was the best wedding they had ever been too and that food was the best wedding food they'd had.

Thank you so much for all your help at our wedding last weekend!  Your kindness, help and reassurance on the wedding day itself - in addition to all the preparations leading up to it - was very much appreciated.  Your help on Saturday was amazing - from helping me choose which necklace to wear, putting glitter on my back, sticking Scott's kilt pin back together, getting tissues when I got teary at the sight of the Snoopy on the table....! :)  Everyone had a fantastic day and commented on how delicious the meal was (everything absolutely perfect, lovely and hot), the ballroom tables were decorated beautifully, lovely setting and all the staff were excellent.  The toastmaster was wonderful and I think some of the guests made friends with the bar staff! :)  We were incredibly lucky with the weather so the guests were able to enjoy being outside in the sunshine with Bennachie in the background.  The meal on the Friday night was fabulous too and the room decorated beautifully with the candelabras. It was lovely to have that time with some of our guests staying over as they'd come from further a field too.

I really want to thank you, and the team at Pittodrie House, so much for giving us such a fantastic wedding day, it was better than we could have imagined and definitely a day we will happily look back on.  Everyone really seemed to enjoy themselves and there were a lot of compliments on the food in particular. We don't have a bad word to say about our experience, the day ran smoothly, the food and drink were fantastic, and the staff were all very helpful and kind...I will definitely recommend Pittodrie House to any future brides (or grooms)!  Lastly, I would like to thank you for all your help (and patience!) in the run up to the wedding...I appreciate you putting up with my constant stream of emails haha! 

 We would just like to say once again how grateful we are for all your hard work to make our day so special. We had a fantastic time and everything was just perfect. You and your team are fantastic. They made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived on the Friday to when we left on Sunday. Thanks to all of you we truly had a memorable day and the best wedding ever! All the guests commented on how wonderful you all were and how everything ran so smoothly. They also said the food was fantastic! So thank you!!
