I was able to reflect on my first year of managing Manchester's
largest luxury hotel and I viewed it as one of continued success,
but most importantly a hotel with bags of ambition to make
ourselves the very best hotel for service and luxury in
We enjoyed a year of consistent service delivery, whilst
becoming one of the very best providers of conference and
banqueting in the UK. Set alongside another impressive AA
inspection and award for our Scottish Steak Club and spa
facilities, our great team continues to go from strength to
strength. Their improvement in service delivery was most
noticeable with our proudest award of the year, Manchester Evening
News' "Manchester's Best Sleep". There can be no finer
accolade, given the 250 or so competitors that would have like to
have held that award.
2014 for me is all about service delivery and excellence.
I am fortunate as we have further improvements planned for
our lounge, spa, conference floor and bedrooms so that we remain
the very best in Manchester at what we do.
Our ambitions are simple: to be not only Manchester's largest
luxury hotel and spa, but also the very best at customer
satisfaction. I know we have a team and willingness to exceed
