We just wanted to send a quick note to say a HUGE THANK YOU to
yourself and your team for all your hard work that went towards
making our special day a fantastic one!
Personal thank you to yourself for helping us put together what can
only be described as an incredible day and we can honestly say if
it wasn't for you we're certain it would not have been as beautiful
and as organised as it was!!!Special thanks also for organising
those additional photos with Mark, we have to say the ones in the
Garden are our favourite.
Secondly to the staff that worked on the day, we've never seen
staff work as hard and be as attentive as the staff at Linden Hall.
Nothing was ever a problem and they did everything with a smile on
their face!
Thanks again for everything, and we look forward to seeing you
again at weddings we hope to be invited to up at Linden!

We got married at Linden Hall on Sat 25th September 2010. Words
can not describe our experience. I know everyone says that their
wedding day was the most special day of their life, but ours truly
was. From start to finish, the staff catered to our every
need/request and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is
simply breathtaking, a picture perfect setting for a wedding, with
the most beautiful grounds for your photographs, or just a romantic
walk. Angela the wedding coordinator is the most organised and
professional person, whilst at the same time kind and caring, with
a good sense of humour (which is needed with the stress of a
wedding). All we can really say is...we wish our day never had to
end, it was perfect. We will be back at Linden Hall before the
year's out to stay over and I'm sure every year from now as it
certainly has gained a very special place in our hearts.

We stayed here for our small wedding ceremony and had a very
lovely time. It is a very beautiful place and the staff is very
kind and helpful. We had a lot of help from the wedding coordinator
Angela, before we arrived so many thanks to her, and as well to the
rest of the staff for making our stay the best.

Overall, the day was perfect. Even the rain didn't spoil it. I
suppose it proves you can have a wedding on Friday 13th without
things going wrong! Angela Carruthers was our wedding planner and
she was amazing. She always got back to us straight away if we had
any queries. She was also back and forth down stairs to the place
we nickname the 'dungeon' to get samples of things if I wanted to
look at things. In fact, we had no problems with any of the
employees at Linden Hall. They offered their services for help,
even when the female wedding party was getting flustered; they came
up to my room and offered to help with anything if they could! I
would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a relaxing
break in luxurious surroundings where your every need is catered
for and of course a wedding!

We had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic! The
location/grounds were lovely and the staff who attended to our
function were great. Nothing was any bother to them and they made
us and our guests relaxed. They were discreet, friendly and very
professional. Particular thanks to Rachel and the Master of
Ceremony Victoria.
The food prepared by Daniel the Chef was delicious and was served
fresh and hot for such a large group! We would recommend the
chocolate and orange marquise for pudding! Yum!
The reception was very well organised, helped along with way by
Angela the coordinator, with any queries or concerns answered and
suggestions made which put us nicely at ease. There was no hard
sell in the process which was pleasing.
Overall a BIG THANK YOU to everyone there!!

I held my wedding at Linden Hall just yesterday and I can't
begin to tell you how perfect the venue and staff were, from start
to finish Angela Carruthers the wedding coordinator has been
amazing, not only was she exceptional at her job but she has become
a good friend too, her dedication and support has been 110%
Nothing was too much trouble for Angela, David and Glenn, they took
great pride in their work and upheld the fantastic name of Linden
Hall through their high standard, and professional service
throughout. I was amazed at 2am this morning to find Glenn still
there (having been there throughout the whole day too as our Master
of Ceremony) still making sure all our guests received an
outstanding service.
David was exceptional too, who also prided himself in ensuring our
day was perfect, which it was thanks to the team of Linden Hall,
all the staff were fabulous also including Laura the receptionist
she was so kind and it was lovely knowing she was there to offer
any further assistance with rooms - and also managed to help me
into my dress!! It just goes to show the length the staff will go
to too ensure your day is everything you dreamed of.
I would highly recommend Linden Hall and their staff to anybody
wishing to hold any kind of event there. I would like to take this
opportunity to thank Angela, Glenn, David, Laura and all the staff
for making my day so perfect in everyway.

All of our wedding preparation needs were taken care of by
Angela who really did look after everything, down to all my little
requests. She made it easy trying to plan things and with us living
so far from the hotel she was a God send and made it very stress
free.
We could not have chosen a more wonderful place to get married. We
were able to create the fabulous, romantic wedding we'd pictured to
spoil ourselves and our guests due to the wonderful setting and
staff. The value for money cannot be compared to any of the other
places we had brochures for either.
The morning of the wedding Angela appeared at my door with a glass
of champagne to calm the nerves and appeared again to say good luck
just before entering the ceremony room. I thought this was
extremely thoughtful as most of our contact had been only through
phone and email. The morning after the wedding we received a bottle
of champagne from the hotel and the breakfast was delicious. It was
the personal touches from the hotel staff which meant so much.

The whole experience with Linden Hall in particular Angela (the
wedding planner) was five star. Angela helped us map the day out
and gave us contacts to sort various parts out. The package that
was offered to us was far better than we could ever imagine and
made the day very special. Nothing was too much. Other places we
talked to were totally inflexible on certain requests, Linden Hall
basically fitted the day to what we wanted, which is very
rare.
If you are thinking of having a wedding, I honestly think this
place can not be beat and the way it is organised and run you would
have an amazing day.

During the run up to the day Angela, the wedding coordinator was
very supportive and efficient, keeping us informed at all
times.
I would recommend Linden to anyone looking for a wedding venue.
They have weddings all the time (which explains why they are so
good at them) but we truly felt very special all day.

We chose Linden Hall as our wedding venue and what a wonderful
decision it was! It was the most perfect day - everything we'd
imagined it would be and so much more. The staff were courteous,
efficient and very friendly. The master of ceremonies was
absolutely fantastic in ensuring the day went so smoothly from
start to finish, yet was so discreet and professional in the
process. The duty manager went out of his way to ensure all our
guests were well looked after and provided a first class service.
Chris the head chef went beyond the call of duty to serve up the
most delicious canapés followed by a superb 5-course meal. It was
truly wonderful cuisine and our guests are still talking about it.
Lastly, special thanks to Angela the wedding planner, who made us
feel so relaxed and excited about our special day knowing it was in
her organised and capable hands. She was a dream to work with -
friendly, very experienced, professional and calming.
With outstanding grounds, top-class facilities and amazing service
it really was the perfect wedding day - nothing was too much.
Linden Hall and its fantastic staff met all our expectations and
we'd like to extend our thanks for such a memorable and special day
that we will remember and talk about forever!

I have finally had a chance to sit down after a whirl wind 4
weeks since I got married and it's about time I said a few words of
thanks towards all the staff at Linden Hall. This hotel is set in a
picturesque setting just outside Morpeth in Northumbria, I knew
after one visit that this was the place that my now wife and myself
would have wanted to get married and thank you to all the staff who
made our special day that extra bit special. Our wedding planner
Angela went over and beyond the call of duty in organising our
wedding to the point of working late to suit our schedule and for
helping us remember all the small details that as a man I would
have forgotten. On the day we handed over to our master of
ceremonies, Glen who pointed me in all the right directions and
helped me remember all the important items, my name for a start as
the nerves kicked in. The day went perfectly, the setting was
idyllic and even a slight touch of rain didn't dampen any
festivities. The food was more than we could have wished for with
even the smallest food allergies being taken into consideration.
The following morning we were greeted by David who catered to our
every request and who made us feel more special than we already
felt.
And yes we will be going back to Linden Hall for many years to
come.

Where to start really... a huge big thank you to our wedding
planner Angela, you made our day so special and all the preparation
was amazing and very easy going, a pleasure to have your help in
organising our fantastic day!
