Had my wedding at Macdonald Kilhey Court. What a wonderful setting. The gardens and terraces are just perfect for the photos and the room itself where we had our meal and evening 'do' was magnificent. Thanks for making it a perfect day.

It's Chris Evans, and Nicola Farnworth, wedding in the restaurant on July 9th, who came for the wedding breakfast tasting last night.

Just wanted to let you know our choices but also to pass on our sincere thanks as the meals where fantastic, giving us a very hard decision, and the staff were fantastic, particularly the restaurant manager? in there 'hosting' and general service and 'chat'.

Just a few short lines to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for all your and your team's efforts at the recent Fundraising Ball for Emma Hoolin on Saturday 8th October 2011.

The whole team, particularly Charley, Rob and Christine were extremely patient and accommodating both in the run up to and on the evening itself especially given our very tight timescale.

The staff and quality of food and service were a credit to the hotel and we received many positive comments throughout the evening.

We feel the event was a tremendous success and the amount raised (in the region of £26,000), exceeded our wildest expectations.

Just a note to thank you most especially for making Margaret's 50th Birthday celebration very special.

Please would you be so kind as to pass on our thanks to Tina Plumb - who was a great host. Very calm and accommodating of our needs on the night.

Thank you so much for organising such a special evening for us to celebrate our 41st anniversary and my husband's birthday.

Your staff were excellent on the night. Very friendly, attentive without being intrusive and very professional, a combination you don't find very offten these days.

The area we were given to dine was excellent, with a small sitting area just off it which we found invaluable. The table setting was beautiful, with an arrangement of flowers in the centre.

The whole experience from making the booking through the event and beyond, was most pleasing. We would certainly come again and we have shared our experience with family and friends

My recent event was very successful and all of the staff at the hotel were polite helpful and enthusiastic. The event ran smoothly from the initial enquiry to the event itself. I would certainly use the hotel again in the future.

My colleague and I stayed at the Kilhey Court Hotel & Spa on Wednesday 12th July 2011.

The bookings were made for Tracy Harrison and Louise Coulter.

Whilst staying away from home is never very appealing (we have to do it a lot), the staff in the restaurant at your hotel made it all together a much more enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately I cannot recall the name of the gentleman that served us (apologies, it had been a long day!) but, the service which we received was without a doubt one of the best examples of customer service I have experienced. It was excellent, as he was friendly, attentive, polite and very accommodating with our requests.

Please ensure that the positive comments in this email are passed on as in my experience its often negative sentiments which are acted upon and positive praise can be overlooked.

I would recommend your hotel based on the service we received.

The evening was fantastic and I have received nothing but praise for the whole evening. Really positive feedback re the venue, the food and the staff, in fact I haven't received any negative feedback at all.

Your support throughout has been excellent, from the initial planning through to the execution on the evening. Please pass on my thanks to Rob as the whole evening flowed without a hitch.

I am emailing you just to say that we had a fantastic time at your hotel and was thrilled to bits to have the Byron Suite! I was very surprised indeed, the room was huge! The hotel is gorgeous and breakfast the next day was fabulous!

I have written to Head Office to say what a wonderful experience Kilhey Court, and you in particular, gave my Year 11.  I would like to thank you again, it really was the best venue we have used. 

I spent last night at Killhey Court, I must say all staff were excellent, facilities brilliant and food excellent.

We have just come back from our honeymoon and this is the first opportunity to send an email just to say a massive thank you to you and your staff who participated in making our day as special as possible.

A special mention must go to Jen who ran the day perfectly and controlled the situation impeccably. There was a tiny issue with one of the special meals and this was swiftly rectified!

She was outstanding actually and wasn't put off by any of the crazy children. Also the daytime serving staff were all great and the bar tender in the lounge (Irish lad I think?) He was really helpful and gave us a good service.

The night time staff were all great as well. Tina did a very good job of getting more chairs in again very swiftly and controlled the night time with great timing of the cake cutting, etc. Peter behind the bar was in good spirits and lots of our guests were commenting on how much he was making them laugh and how quickly people where being served etc. He also was enjoying the music as much as any of us.

As I've said the feedback from family and friends regarding the food, service and the venue itself was all positive.
