Thank you so much for a fantastic wedding for Holly and James. I've posted a Tripadvisor review under a pseudonym which I hope you will enjoy.

It is a great tribute to you and all the staff of the hotel that we really did feel we were the only folk in the universe last weekend. The friendliness and attentiveness of everyone made the whole event go without a hitch and all the guests I've spoken to since have been full of praise, and rightly so. I know, from my own professional experience, how important family events are to people, and especially where offspring are concerned, and getting it right for parents - as fussy and pernickety as we no doubt were - is no mean feat.

From the moment Holly and I arrived, through the time of good-humoured banter I had with the young man behind the bar late into the evening, to the young lady whose vacuuming of the corridor I kept interrupting on Sunday morning, I was met with unfailing good-humour and courtesy.

Our priceless weekend of bringing together two families' entire lifetimes was certainly enhanced by Houstoun House Hotel and its staff.

Thanks for all your help with the wedding, we had a a fantastic day & cant fault anything with Hotel - all the staff were great, food was fantastic & the room was just as I wanted it! Everyone was giving us great comments on how good the food was & how the day just ran so smoothly so thanks again for all your help with that - we really appreciate all your help & professionalism!!

Thank you for all your help in planning for our Wedding on the 10th June 2011 and for all your hard work on the day! We had such a perfect day and lots of lovely memories. It is such a beautiful venue and we were really blessed with the weather on the day. Everything went perfectly on the day and thisis down to the staff who were there on the day. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping us have an amazing wedding. The food was amazing and the staff honestly great. There was a man called Gianni, he was the most professional and lovely man, nothing was too much trouble and I really felt he went out of his way to make our day special. You made sure everything was perfect for us and I did not have to worry about a thing. All my guests were on a high and were so impressed with the hotel.

Just wanted to write and thank you and all your staff for everything you did to make our wedding day in July perfect.  It was a truly fantastic day and we were delighted to be able to be married outside - thank you so much for arranging that.  The meal was outstanding and so many guests have complemented the food, especially the roast beef and Yorkshire pudding - we were over the moon with the afternoon tea cakes stand, please thank the chef.  Please pass a special thanks to Gianni whose attention to detail was fantastic and we greatly welcomed his smooth running of things.

My daughter had her wedding at the Houstoun House Hotel on Saturday 28th January 2012. We were joined by guest from throughout the UK and abroad, staying two nights before the wedding and one night after. From start to finish everything was perfect.

All the hotel staff, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant and not to leave out the behind the scenes staff, were friendly, helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The day of the wedding went like a dream. The food at the reception was excellent. The service was spot on, and all demands made of the staff met with a smile.

My daughter had the dream wedding she wanted. Thank you to the hotel and its entire staff, WELL DONE

Just wanted to say thank you so much to yourself and all the staff at Houtsoun House for making our big day so perfect. We had the most amazing day and couldn't fault a thing! We couldn't have wished for better (including the weather - who would have thought it!) Everyone commented on our gorgeous venue, the wonderful food and how friendly and helpful the staff were - and we couldn't agree more. You totally put us all at ease. As I look out at the rain today it reminded me how lucky we were with the weather a fortnight ago. That was certainly a bonus but it was a fantastic day overall and much of that was due to the venue and the support you gave in the run up and the staff on the day. Please pass on my thanks to them all. Your efforts made sure Sarah and Jamie had a day to remember.
