Inspired by the natural surroundings and heritage of the Hall,
award-winning Head Chef Paul and his passionate and dedicated team
have created the hotel's unique dining experience. Their vision of
serving traditional English cuisine with a twist reflects the
Macdonald Hotels & Resorts commitment to using
carefully-selected suppliers sourcing fresh, natural ingredients,
and has seen them awarded an AA rosette in 2010.
Paul joined Ansty Hall in 2008 bringing with him over 20 years
of culinary experience within the industry. He has had the pleasure
of cooking for a host of celebrity and well-known figures during
his career including HRH the Queen at the Royal Show ground,
Warwickshire, and since arriving at the hotel for TV chefs The
Hairy Bikers and Paul Rankin.
Passionate about food from an early age, Paul became part of an
elite group of chefs to win the coveted Gold Prize at the North
Midlands Salon Culinaire before going on to cater for the Porsche
motorsport team including GT1 winners Hans- Joachim Stuck and
Thierry Boutsen throughout Europe including France, Italy and
Belgium at GT and Grand Prix events.
Paul and his team are now working towards achieving their second
AA rosette to crown their passion and expertise in cooking - and to
enhance the already well-established reputation of our hotel for
delicious food, charmingly served.
