Please note that due to our exclusive membership and so all our guests may enjoy the facilities, children up to 16yrs can only use the pool between 12 and 2pm daily. This policy is strictly adhered to.

  Bathed in natural light, the Macdonald Old England Hotel's heated indoor pool overlooks stunning Lake Windermere. Enjoy your morning coffee or a light spa lunch on the private outdoor terrace overlooking the lake or relax poolside on a lounger. Take an invigorating swim at any time of the day or splash around with the kids during children's swimming times.

  *Guests must complete a fitness assessment prior to using the gym.

  Child Policy
  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool. Under 16s are not permitted to use the gym.

  To avoid a cancellation charge we require 24 hours' notice when cancelling any treatments and 48 hours' notice for Spa Days.
