On the evening, the Macdonald Spey Valley Championship Golf Course was praised for its catering facilities, pro shop and overall welcome from employees to the iconic course.

Keith Pickard, Group Director of Golf at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, said: "To be recognised at these awards is an incredible achievement. Scotland boasts some of the UK's most amazing golf venues and the competition is always extremely tough when it comes to these ceremonies.

"Value for money is at the heart of our brand mission and I'd like to personally thank all of the hard working employees at the Spey Valley Championship Golf Course who all strive to give our members and customers their ultimate best.  We pride ourselves on offering a first class golf experience, from the club house to the green, at exceptionally great value."
