celebrating Great British Beef Week with a few rare additions to
their varied drinks menu - a selection of unique steak-infused
Running from 23rd April to 3rd May, Great
British Beef Week highlights the quality of British beef and raises
funds for the farming industry.
The hotel's 'Whisky Steak' and the 'Rosemary Gin Steaktini'
cocktails are exclusive additions to the cocktail menu, featuring a
blend of delicious Scottish steak and high grade Scottish whisky or
vodka, designed to encapsulate the finest flavours of Scotland in a
The Whisky Steak is a short cocktail that bites back, using fine
quality Monkey Shoulder blended malt Scotch whisky alongside
in-house, aged 21 day Scotbeef farmed Sirloin Steak for soaking.
This is complimented by fresh ground black pepper and homemade
rosemary syrup which brings out both the spice and herb notes of
A herbal and rather succulent twist on the Martini, the Rosemary
Gin Martini has been mixed as a palate cleanser to make the first
mouthfuls of steak even more delicious, combining dry vermouth and
rosemary syrup to add subtle tastes.
The Steaktini launch follows the introduction of an exciting
menu at Macdonald Windsor Hotel within
