Five hundred years after Mary Queen of Scots reportedly rested
within its ancient walls, the four-star Macdonald Houstoun House is
ready to host guests in seven beautifully restyled bedrooms within
the imposing original 16th century tower.
The transformation of the feature bedrooms, with touches that
include 4-poster beds, powerful Monsoon showers and in-room
Nespresso machines is part of a £330,000 refurbishment programme of
23 bedrooms in the picturesque West Lothian hotel that's a key
conference and wedding venue in the area.
