workers. The charity helps those in chaotic, stressful and
abusive circumstances to rebuild esteem and self-confidence by
enabling opportunities for the children to take part in activities,
school trips and sports. It also provides beds, bedding,
specialist equipment, clothing and footwear.
Sonya Edwardson, the Peebles based Chair of BCC,
commented: "We are a small, local charity helping children
throughout the Borders and have been overwhelmed with the
generosity shown to the charity by Stuart and his team at Macdonald
Cardrona Hotel. This cheque is just wonderful.

rising every month, it is imperative that we keep on top of our
fundraising. This donation from Macdonald Cardrona Hotel will
help considerably in our ongoing push to help children in great
