A piper in traditional dress was spotted on the roof of
Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa on Thursday 22nd May,
announcing the re-launch of the hotel's award-winning Scottish
Steak Club restaurant.
Playing traditional Highland bagpipes to a busy commuter crowd,
Ray, the hotel's piper played from the top of the eight floor roof
for two hours, where the enchanting sounds of Scotland could be
heard across the city.
The luxury four-star Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa
is re-launching its multi award winning Scottish Steak Club
restaurant on Friday 30th May to the public. It
continues to offer the very best of British, as well as some of the
world's most delicious steak cuts alongside only wildest, freshest
seafood. As the current AA Hotel Group of the Year and with a
reputation on food provenance unmatched in the industry, the
re-launched Scottish Steak Club is just another venture for
Macdonald Hotels to further improve on what they do.
Guests will also be able to watch the chefs in action
creating their dishes via the theatre kitchen that sits in the
