Macdonald Windsor Hotel was a runner-up for a much sought after
Catey Green Hotel of the Year Award coming in closely behind the
London's Savoy Hotel. The winners were announced at a gala dinner
and presentation ceremony at the London Park Plaza Westminster
Bridge Hotel last Friday (29th November).
Now in their seventh year, the Caterer and Hotelkeeper
magazine's Hotel Cateys are the industry's only truly independent
benchmark of operational excellence. Since their launch, the awards

employees across the UK. Nearly 90 judges shortlisted the nominees
in 14 categories.
Proud to have achieved runner-up status, Beverley Molmans,
General Manager at Macdonald Windsor, said; "We owe much of our eco
credentials to our 'green champion' Greg Brown who has worked with
our 'green team' to ensure our environmental initiatives are
maintained and continually developed for the benefit of our guests
and future generations."

last week. The hotel also recently won a Silver Green Tourism
Business Scheme award.
