From today 2nd December 2013, politicians, business
executives, journalists and tourists alike within the Holyrood area
of Scotland's capital can savour award-winning flavoursome Scottish
food with an Italian twist after leading restaurateurs, Susan and
Adrian Pieraccini opened their brasserie style Rocca@Holyrood
dining experience within Macdonald Holyrood Hotel.
The opening is the latest venture by Macdonald Hotels &
Resorts, AA Hotel Group of the Year 2013-2014.
The centre-piece of a £500,000 investment at the hotel,
Rocca@Holyrood is located just steps from the Scottish Parliament
and Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The new brasserie-style restaurant, opened by the team that has
already achieved three AA rosettes at Rocca Bar & Grill
restaurant at sister hotel Macdonald Rusacks Hotel, St Andrews,
Rocca@Holyrood promises its diners great tasting food within a
contemporary styled restaurant that conveys a sense of warmth and
calm. Promising a quick and efficient all-day service, guests can
taste Rocca through both Italian and Scottish inspired classic
dishes such as hand-rolled pasta with a beef and Barolo Ragu, or
mushrooms "on toast" with poached egg and delicious hollandaise and
enjoy a much-loved approach to relaxed dining.
Susan Pieraccini, co-owner of Rocca Bar & Grill and
