The popular Scottish Steak Club restaurant
within Macdonald Inchyra Hotel
& Spa by Polmont has been awarded its first AA rosette,
marking a significant achievement for the up and coming venue led
by executive chef Callum Dow.
Since joining the Scottish Steak Club last year,
Callum has led the team to develop the restaurant's offering to a
consistently high standard, reflecting Macdonald Hotels &
Resorts commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients from around
the UK. Two years after its opening, the accolade is a resounding
acknowledgement of a team commitment to achieve the highest
standards of culinary proficiency.
Commenting on the award, Callum said: "We're exceptionally
pleased to have been awarded our first AA rosette. The team have
been working incredibly hard to offer guests an outstanding dining
experience. To have reached this goal is a real thrill.

Dow joined the Scottish Steak Club in 2012 bringing over ten
years of experience in the hospitality industry. Having attained
his first role as head chef at the age of just 23 and with a track
record in achieving AA Rosette awards, Dow will now be working on
the development of new menus, including exclusive taster menus and
specials after the New Year.
Focusing on seasonal dishes with a Scottish influence, the Scottish
Steak Club's speciality beef cuts are cooked to perfection on
the Josper grill. It was noted during the inspection that the 28
Day Aged Rib eye Steak on the Bone met expectations for the 2 AA
Rosette award. All dishes are based on only the finest freshest and
where possible locally sourced produce, always prepared from whole
