Business at MacDonald Hotels

Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UK's largest privately owned hotel group, with a portfolio of over forty 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts throughout the UK and Spain, has announced the appointment of Elaine McCormack as new Director of Sales.

Elaine joins Macdonald Hotels & Resorts with group-wide responsibility for overseeing all sales management across the hotel portfolio. The position reinforces the leading hotel group's commitment to further drive its corporate and meetings business and improve the success of its Meeting@ Macdonald Hotels & Resort product.

With over twenty years experience in the hotel, travel and attraction sectors Elaine is well placed to tackle her role. Most recently Elaine was Director of Business Development at Pro-ven Venue Solutions agency, a dedicated venue placement agency.  In recent years, the Hertfordshire based sales professional has been UK Sales Director of Barceló Hotels and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing (including MICE and corporate) for Concorde Hotels.
