For a music festival experience with a difference head to
the Bath Jazz Festival and enjoy some groovy tunes that will ensure
you holiday is like no other. While music festivals are a frequent
reason for people to take short breaks, The Bath Jazz and Blues
Festival is one that only the coolest cars need sign up for. Taking
place over a period of nine days in October, Visitors can expect to
be seduced by the crooning tones of the sweetest jazz singers,
become entranced by the swing of an instrumental outfit and of
course, smile blissfully as an expert saxophonist lets rip with a
series of toe-tapping, heartfelt solos.
Even though the Bath Jazz and Blues Festival is only
entering its third year, the first two ventures were so thoroughly
popular that there was no question as to whether or not the
celebration of this fantastic style of music would take place
again. Attendees this year can look forward in particular to Adam
Palma from Poland, who's blues guitar is exceptional, as well as
appearance from the popular Britain's got Talent star Julian Smith,
whose incredible saxophone playing stunned the country and brought
him right through to the end of the
show. Also on the bill are acts like Four on the Floor, Innes
Siburn, The Bath Blues Brothers and much more.
That's not all there will be to entertain crowds during the
festival, however. Taking place from the 7th until the 16th
October, there will be plenty of live acts but also workshops with
interviews, Q&A sessions and even one or two event where you'll
be able to get involved with some awesome music making
too!
There couldn't be a better time to visit Bath is you're a
jazz and blues fan who's looking for adventure in the later part of
the year. The Bath Jazz and Blues Festival is certainly one of the
city's best, and you can expect to spend every day and night

Blues Festival is also perfect for families, so there's truly no
