Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the largest privately owned
hotel group in the UK, has today announced the appointment of Vicky
Hetherington as National Account Director North for the corporate
and agent market.
Hetherington's appointment further strengthens the central sales
team of a hotel group that offers discerning business, conference
and leisure guests the choice of over forty, 4 and 5 star
properties across the UK.
Vicky will be based in the North West and will bring a wealth of
industry experience to her new role at a time when Macdonald Hotels
& Resorts continues the roll out of a £16 million investment
programme across the group. The former National Account Director at
Ramada Hotels has managed a large customer base across corporate,
local, MICE and agency sales and held various national hotel
account management and agency sales roles with the likes of IHG,
Hilton and DeVere Village.
In her new position, Vicky Hetherington will target the ever
growing corporate and agent sector, drawing on her extensive
experience and contacts to successfully account manage, drive sales
and contribute to group marketing strategy.
Vicky's appointment underlines Macdonald Hotels' strategy to
strengthen its national sales team as it continues to focus on key
operating markets and invest across the portfolio.
