    The magnificent five-star Macdonald Randolph Hotel in Oxford is ready to rise from the ashes following a fire last year.  The final piece of scaffolding will be coming down from the hotel's façade on Thursday 14 April 2016 after almost a year of renovations at the hotel following a fire caused by a rogue flambé incident in its kitchens.

    HOTEL BOSSES TO RUN 10K BLINDFOLDED

    Staff at Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham are stepping into Dave 'Blind Dave' Heeley's shoes as they start training for a 10k run, blindfolded.  Regional Managing Director Derek McDonough and Macdonald Burlington Hotel Manager James Bee are taking on the Great Birmingham10k Run on 1st May while blindfolded alongside Blind Dave to raise awareness and funds for Queen Alexandra College (QAC) for the blind.

    ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD FOR MACDONALD WINDSOR HOTEL

    Macdonald Windsor Hotel has been crowned winner of a Greener Path Award for Zero Waste to Landfill. The four-red star hotel, which also boasts its very own honey bee hive on a rooftop overlooking the Royal residence, was given the award by leading environmental waste management company, ACM Environmental PLC.

    MACDONALD ANSTY HALL KEEPS CHARITY CYCLISTS RIDING HIGH

    Macdonald Ansty Hall in Coventry has supported local legend Dave 'Blind Dave' Heeley along with his team mates during a 180 mile charity bike ride between Norwich and West Bromwich.  The team were taking part in the 'Baggies Bike Ride' raising money and awareness for the Albion Foundation, which aims to raise the aspirations of the most deprived in the local community through sport and educational opportunities.
