    TIME FOR BUSINESS MEANS TIME FOR YOU

    Macdonald Hotels will be on Stand 646 of the Business Travel Show at Olympia on 24th and 25th February.  Staff are stopping short of giving out train timetables, but they will be promoting the fact that 17 of their UK hotels are within 10 minutes of a train station.

    THE CORRECT WAY TO SERVE HAGGIS, NEEPS AND TATTIES

    Near the end of January 2016, one of the UK's largest independent hotel groups, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, will be hosting lively, traditional Burns Suppers in 45 hotels right across the UK, in celebration of the life and works of Robert Burns.  This is believed to be one of the largest haggis-fests in the world and will incorporate one extra special event at Macdonald Aviemore Resort which will also host the Highland Premier of Robert Burns the Musical.

    One of Preston's rising stars in the hospitality and service sector has been recognised for her excellence at the Downtown in Business 'Women in Business Awards 2015'.  Bethan Johnson, general manager at Macdonald Tickled Trout Hotel in Preston, was presented with the 'Best in Hospitality and Service 2015 Award' last month by Frank McKenna, CEO of Downtown in Business.

    400 TRAINEES TO JOIN THE MACDONALD HOTELS FAMILY

    Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, the UK's largest independent hotel group, has committed to placing 400 young people into fulfilling, full-time traineeships in 2016.  Working in partnership with Total People, Macdonald Hotels is offering quality traineeships through work experience placements in 17 of its 48 hotels throughout the UK.

    HILL VALLEY HOSTS FESTIVE PARTY FOR ELDERLY

    Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa in Shropshire hosted a Christmas party for 150 local elderly members of the community on Monday 14 December.  Guests, all dressed in their festive finery, came from all across Shropshire; from residential homes and sheltered housing, as well as from the Bradbury Care Centre in Whitchurch.
